Your data powers your training. Protecting it is non-negotiable. This policy explains what APEX collects, why, and the control you keep.

What we collect

Account details (name, email), the fitness data you log (workouts, runs, nutrition, body metrics, health markers), your preferences (language, units), and basic device information needed to run the app securely.

How we use it

To run APEX: sync your data across sessions, calculate your stats and trends, power AI coaching, process subscriptions, and send the transactional emails you request (verification, password reset). We do not sell your personal data.

AI features

When you use the AI Coach, relevant training data from your account is shared with our AI processing partners solely to generate your responses. It is not used to train their models under our agreements.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase (authentication and database) on encrypted infrastructure. Payments are handled by Stripe — APEX never stores your card details. Food data lookups query Open Food Facts with the barcode or search term only.

Your rights

Access, correct, export, or permanently delete your data at any time. Deletion is available in Settings → Delete Account and takes effect immediately. For an export or any other request, email us — we respond within 30 days.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from production systems; residual backup copies expire on a rolling basis within 30 days.
